With this, the entire college has been exerting efforts, pooling resources and pouring their hearts to optimize the necessary preparations particularly in the College of Teacher Education for the coming PACUCOA Level II First Reaccreditation come July 12 – 14 ,2011. The process is so costly but eventually asssures reap of benefits and rewards in the organization.

For Accreditation recognizes the high level of quality or excellence of any educational program according to merits, standards, objectives and community service. Now, it places more emphasis on faculty, instruction, research, community extension and productivity. It is simply based on the Key Thrust mandated by the Commission on Higher Education – Quality and Excellence.

After the College succeeded in the Level I Accreditation last February 21-23, 2008, the faculty and the students have embraced elbows and worked hand in hand to strengthen school’s responsibility and accountability with the support of the administration and staff. They have consolidated all their pulses to improve the delivery of academic services, modified facilities and establish more cohesive and significant  relationship with the entire populace and the community it serves. With God’s guidance and blessings, ICC becomes confident and ready for the next visit.

Student and Personnel Services have been painstakingly intensified to promote student friendly learning environment and programs and activities are well planned and leveled up in order to cater the needs and demands of the present generation.

Community extension has become intensive to its on-going outreach programs through active student-faculty involvement.

Better facilities have been provided for the safety and practical purposes so that students feel that ICC is not just a school but also a home.

More attention is given to the Library. Its holdings are increased and the facility is enhanced and equipped with the important instructional resources and research materials for the client’s educational pursuit.

Refurbishing the laboratories indicates that the management is taking care of its constituents to avoid risk exposure and eradicate liability to secure waste management and disposal and supplement commendable learning experiences.

Regular supervision for instruction has been done and evaluated to ensure that strategies are contextualized, integrative, collaborative and compatible to the learning style of the students and to make sure that the good focus is placed on the development and acquisition of proper work habits, attitudes and values.

More specifically, practical experiences related to the course are conducted gearing towards towards the goals of the institution especially on instilling ICC Core values. Instructional equipment and materials are provided to realize that students are receiving the ever desired quality education.

The qualification of the faculty has been strengthened to advance academically based on the faculty development program and faculty research intensified through monetary and service merit incentive.

The school management has been very supportive to evidence physicaly improvement and quality academic services for the institution to meet the established accreditation standards and even beyond.

Months from now, the more comprehensive and well-thought-out direction for accreditation will be realized and this has challenged the expertise of the ICC people in their field but somehow has inspired every member in the hope to become globally competitive and at par with the other prestigious institutions sooner.

The working team and members have always taken the distinct steps and cooperative spirit to demonstrate the essence of the vision, mission, and goals of the college to get everyone well-informed and aware of the educational philosophy of the great founder, Madam Laureana San Pedro Rasales.
